1. Question: How is the directory organised?
Answer: There are internal and general categories. The internal categories (left margin) are for our resources or for our advertiser's resources, and are not free. The general categories (right margin) are free unless stated otherwise. Duplicates are not allowed in the general categories.

2. Question: How can I add my site to the directory?
Answer: To add your resource, enter the proper category below the Categories tab, in the right margin. Once you are there, you will see an Add Url link at the bottom. You do not have to pay or link back to have your website listed here, but please do not send duplicates or mirror sites: just your home page.

3. Question: Can I exchange links with Polseguera.net?
Answer: Polseguera.net is not a link exchange directory. If you link to Polseguera.net, we can link back at Polseguera.com in the proper category.

4. Question: Can my site be displayed first in a category?
Answer: Yes, it can. You just need to buy credits. The resources with credits are displayed before the free resources. For example, let's imagine that there are two sites with credits in a category. One has 500 credits, and the other one has 300. The first site will be the one with 500 credits, the second one, the one with 300 credits, and then the sites with no credits. Credits do not expire. 5. Question: I submitted my site some time ago, but it was not validated. Why?
Answer: Well, it is not easy to answer this question generally. There are many reasons why a site is rejected. We list the most common below:
• If a site is already in the directory, the new submission will not be accepted. You have to use the option Modify a resource to make changes or write to us.
• If you submit sites that are equal or similar and we detect this, we will validate only one site, or if we feel that you have been spamming the directory, we may decide to delete them all. If you persist in sending your duplicates, we may even tell the program to remove your site(s) immeditately after the submission. As a general rule, we want a site per company. If you need more advertising, we offer affordable options.
• We have noted that many webmasters do not submit their sites correctly and we have to edit the information provided. Some of them do not even care to enter the proper categories to add their sites. Please follow the instructions and make things easier for us. You will have more chances to succeed.
• Some sites have to pay to be included in this directory. Write to us.
• Please notice that we do not admit political parties or religious institutions in this directory.
• If we detect that you have used software to send your site, we will delete it. Please submit your site manually.
• Your site lacks of contents or you offer the services or products from other companies only, although there are exceptions, such as directories. In this case, you can be in an internal category for only 35 euros a year. Please note that you will receive no credits.
• Sites that only offer link exchanges will not be validated in this directory. However, we invite you to exchange links with Polseguera.com: Directories and Search Engines.
• Your site is only one page.
• Your site is under construction.
• Your site redirects its visitors to another site.
• Your site does not seem to work properly.
• It is necessary to register to access the contents of your site. If we cannot see what you offer, your site may be turned down.
• The details of your site are written in capital letters only or are a list of keywords.
• The title, description and keywords cannot be the same. Use spaces to separate your keywords, not commas.
• Chains of hotels, estate agents..., please submit one of your sites only. We want one site per company as a free resource.
• You are required to add your site to a category that is in the same language as your resource, and that is related to what you offer. If your site is not in English, Catalan or Spanish, then you can submit it in English.
• We may have deleted it by mistake. For example, if a site is down when we visit it. Write to us if you feel this is the case.

6. Question: I submitted a comment some time ago. Why has it not been validated?
Answer: Your comment was not appropriate or it contained advertising. You can write to us. Please allow a week or so for your comments to be validated. We really appreciate your comments.

Answer: The ones that belong or are related to political parties (politicians, governmental institutions...), and religious institutions. Click here for more details.

9. Question: How can I find out whether my website is in the directory?
Answer: By using the search box. You only need to enter the name of your site without the "http://www" part. For instance, polseguera.net (and not http://www.polseguera.net).

10. Question: I have not a website, but I would like to suggest one that I often visit. Is it possible?

11. Question: I have a business, but I have not a website. May I include my business in this directory?
Answer: Sorry, but you can't. However, you can use our classifieds to advertise your business. Best of all, the service is free and you can add images to your adverts.

12. Question: Could you give me an example to submit my site correctly?
Answer: Yes, sure. Below is an example:
Title: Cultural and Business Directory - Polseguera.net
Description: Search engine and directory in three languages: English, Spanish and Catalan. Our main aim is to compile sites that suit your needs or to help you to promote your services at great prices.
Keywords: directory search engine links culture business services
URL: http://www.polseguera.net
Please note the following:
The title cannot be over 63 characters long.
The description cannot exceed 255 characters.
The keywords must be separated by spaces only, and cannot be more than 60 characters long. Do not repeat the keywords.
If you would like to suggest a new category, use the field provided. Otherwise, leave it blank.

13. Question: What do you mean by 'credits'?
Answer: 'Credits' is the same as 'points', and is used to mean that a resource with credits or points will be displayed before a result with no credits inside a category. The directory arranges the websites according to the credits they have. Credits do not expire. You buy credits once and your site is displayed before the resources with no credits without any expiry date. This is a very affordable option. Click here for further details or write to us.
